VOLUNTEERS

There are many ways to volunteer in Youth Ministry at Sylvan Oaks.  If you have a heart to see young people meet Jesus Christ, then we have a spot for you!  You can call or email Andy to let him know that you are interested.  The number is (916) 246-2100, or you can email him at aspurgeon@sylvanoaks.org.

For those people who want to work directly with the youth, we do have a screening process you will need to go through.  This process does include getting a fingerprint check done.  We have the forms and information that you need.

For those of you who have a heart for youth but not the time or inclination to work directly with them, there are still many things that you can do.  We often need people to help with special projects.  We are currently trying to renovate the old nursery into a game room and a cafe for the youth and the church.  We need a skilled electrician and some plumbing work done, as well as general labor.
